Lahore: LONGi, a global leader in solar panel manufacturing, held a donation delivery ceremony in Padri Village near Lahore, over 150 families received small solar panels in the donation drive across the country, known as LONGi Horizon. This initiative aims to bring sustainable and reliable energy solutions to underserved communities and marks a significant step toward addressing energy challenges in rural areas, where access to electricity remains limited.
Afaaq Ali Khan, Vice Chairman of the Pakistan Solar Association (PSA), attended the event as an honorable guest. The donation event in Padri Village Lahore included the distribution of solar panel packages as part of a larger initiative, with a total of 150 solar panels distributed. The donation package included a complete solar panel solution, including the LONGi Horizon solar panel, controller, battery, fan, and lights. Of these, 50 panels were provided to Padri Village Lahore, 50 to a village near Karachi, and 50 to a village near Islamabad.
The solar panels, donated by LONGi, a global leader in solar energy, are designed to provide higher power generation with greater energy efficiency and a longer service life. These innovative yet compact panels are transforming lives in Padri Village by illuminating homes and enabling families to enjoy the basic benefits of reliable electricity for the first time.
