LAHORE, May 8 (ABC): Sajida Farooq Tarrar, mother of Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarrar, said that the completion of one year of “Maarka-e-Haq” and “Bunyan-un-Marsoos” is a matter of pride for the entire nation and reflects Pakistan’s unity, stability, and national solidarity.

She expressed these views while addressing a ceremony held at the Public Secretariat NA-127 to mark the first anniversary of Maarka-e-Haq and Bunyan-un-Marsoos.

Sajida Farooq Tarrar said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the military strategy of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and the professional capabilities of the Pakistan Armed Forces, the country successfully foiled hostile designs and achieved important diplomatic successes at the international level.

She said Pakistan’s armed forces are among the finest in the world and have always upheld the nation’s dignity through professionalism, courage, and sacrifices.

She added that modern warfare strategy, strong defensive preparedness, and timely decisions by the Pakistan Army sent a clear message that no compromise could be made on the country’s defence.

She further said the government, under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, projected a positive image of Pakistan globally through political stability, national unity, and an effective diplomatic strategy.

According to her, close coordination between the civil and military leadership helped Pakistan strengthen its regional position and effectively present its stance before the international community.

Among those present at the ceremony were Member National Assembly Zainab Hashim Bhutta, Punjab Assembly members Bibi Wadera, Sonia Ashar, Rashda Lodhi, Farah Deeba, Dr. Sania Khehra, Mrs. Shehbaz Khokhar, Mrs. Naseer Bhutta, Federal Minister’s PSO Shehbaz Talib, Kishwar Bajwa, Sadia, Mehwish, Tahira, political and social personalities, and a large number of women from the constituency.

Speakers at the event said Bunyan-un-Marsoos had become a symbol of national unity, sacrifice, and patriotism. They said the Pakistani nation stood shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces and state institutions and was ready to make every sacrifice for the country’s security.

The speakers also appreciated the role of Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarrar for effectively presenting Pakistan’s narrative at national and international levels.

Special prayers were offered for national security, unity, prosperity, and the martyrs. Participants also celebrated the anniversary by hoisting the national flag and cutting a cake at the conclusion of the ceremony.
